Internship Courses
Internship is the focal area of NOC curriculum structure. The 16 Units obtained under internship can be used to fulfil any of the 2 types of degree requirements: Program Requirements or Unrestricted Elective (UE) Courses. The faculty/school/department has sole discretion, subject to any University requirements, in approving the use of the 16 Units, in whole or in part, to fulfil these requirements.
College of Design and Engineering (CDE) / School of Computing (SoC) students undertaking relevant NOC internships may use TR3202S/ETP3201S to fulfil Industrial Attachment. Students are to check with their faculty/department for updated mapping approval.
Entrepreneurship Courses
Complementing the internship are entrepreneurship courses designed to equip students with the requisite knowledge and skills for their internship work. NOC students will take up the compulsory entrepreneurship courses, unless preclusions apply.
Minimum Grade Requirement
All courses must be taken on a graded basis. Partner uni. courses based on their grading scale.
For non-grade transfer (OCT) courses: minimum "C" grade required. (Doesn't affect S/U quota or GPA)
For grade transfer (Letter graded) courses: minimum "C" grade required. Grade contributes to GPA.
For grade transfer (CS/CU) courses: CS grade required. Does not contribute to GPA.
Failure to meet grade requirements may result in NOC Disciplinary Committee's review and penalty.
