Do I need a startup idea before I apply?
No. Most students arrive with curiosity, not a deck. Programmes are designed to help you find the right idea by working alongside founders, not to validate an existing one.
Can I join more than one programme?
Yes — and many alumni do. The Summer Programme is a common entry point before NOC. NOC alumni often progress to the MSc in Venture Creation. Check eligibility on each programme page.
What if I want to start a company right now, not study one?
If you have a venture in motion already, look at the Startups side of NUSX — BLOCK71, the funding page, and the founder programmes are designed for active builders, not students.
What does it cost, and is funding available?
Programme fees vary. Awards, scholarships, and bursaries cover all or part of the cost for many participants. Each programme page lists the specific funding routes available.
